We have a few paintings by Francesca and they all bring us such joy.We love their atmosphere and textures and get lost in the depth of colour and emotion behind them.We totally recommend adding Francesca’s beautiful paintings to your home.

Our painting by Francesca, which hangs on our living room wall, is called Diving Down Down Deep Into the Blue Down Down. Though we are diving down into the swirl of the turbulent sea, it evokes for me also the unknown of deep outer space, drawing you in a rush to a central point. But this is no black hole, this is a pinpoint of brightness that I see as the light of hope and its emanations are breaking up the darkness into fragments that no longer have the power to bring you down. The paintwork is rich and bold and blue with depth and texture that both rewards close attention and gives energy and focus to our living room.

The painting I have by Francesca Howard is called 'The Bravery of Starting on The Road Ahead'. It hangs in my consulting room. I am a psychotherapist and the aptness of the title for my work, and for my clients is clear. The painting is dominated by shades of blue, but has reds, yellows and greens woven through it. Sometimes it looks like a river winding through a landscape, sometimes like a night scene. My clients comment on it, and sometimes, perhaps when someone needs to detach from the content of the session, I ask them to look at the painting and tell me what they see. It is always meaningful in different ways. The connection between visual art, and the process of therapy is profound - inner worlds become manifest, interpreted, framed. When Francesca delivered this painting she told me "I have a feeling this picture will do good work in your room." She was right.

Fran’s use of colour in her art and in her life is reflected in each piece she creates. She designs pieces that not only brighten any space that they adorn but they add such radiance and draw you in to their beauty. My painting is called Compassion, it is waves of different shades of purple. When you look at it, it draws you into its warmth and holds you like an embrace. It makes my home whole with its radiance and it holds a small piece of Fran’s love and compassion within each brushstroke.
